Question: stool is darker than usual and loose and there are itchy patches of skin around eyebrows and eyes and cough. Pulmonologist said maybe reflux and so I am on more omneprazole. Internist said maybe allergic reaction. So I stopped nose drops prescribed by pulmonologist. Also legs are water retentive. Ultrasound shows no CV problem and blood pressure is normal. Only thing that helps somewhat is "cupping" done by Chinese XXXXXXX Acupunctures I see for pain control. My email is YYYY@YYYY

Possible Allergic acute bronchitis.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mam.

You possibly seem to have acute allergic bronchitis which is responsible for symptoms both in the lung and sinuses.

I advise you to take respiratory antibiotic like Moxifloxacin 400 mg one tab a day for 3 days.

Additionally drugs like Levocet 10 mg to be taken at bedtime to prevent the itch and rash around the eyebrows.


Omeprazole can be continued.Rest of the drugs can be stopped.

Acupuncture can be continued.

Please note these mentioned drugs have to be taken only under strict medical prescription and supervision.
