Brief Answer:
joints pain may persists up to 6 months

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for the query and i can understand your concern.
Chickengunia is a viral infection with residual joints pain.
Joint pain relief varies with each individual. It may vary from 1 months to 6 months usually for few people it may extend to an year.
So need to worry.
Let her do the physiotherapy exercises to her hands and toes.
She can take oil massage for the affected joints. Both of the above methods increases the blood circulation and helps in relieving pain.
If pain is too much at that time she can take pain killers like Tab Diclofenac/Ibubreofen.

Take care
Regards
Dr Priyanka
