What Causes Large Red Dots On Penis?
Question: Hello , I am a 22 year old male . Recently I have noticed these quite large red spots on my penis skin after the intercourse which was protected , I have been using Thrush Cream from Canesten 2% but the spots are not really improving , I have a history of Penile thrush after I got it from my female partner it has been hard to get rid of as it comes back whenever I stops the applying the Thrush cream , If I miss a day without a shower white stuff starts to build up in there . I have never had these kind red spots in there and have been worrying about penile cancer and other serious STDs , Can you PLEASE have a look at my pictures and tell me what is it and how do I treat this ? Thank You .

I am so sorry to hear about these spots that you have reported. I have reviewed the images fully and this is not very suggestive of a fungal infection. If this has been going on for a while, then these spots are more suggestive of pearly penile papules. They grow all by themselves on the small depression around the glans penis. They present no danger beyond the fact that you may not like the look.
This is not cancer. It has no features while are suggestive of cancer of the penis. Please, totally throw away that disturbing thought as there is nothing in that light which calls for concerns at this time. This is not also suggestive of an STD.
For now, I will suggest you stop the carnesten cream and only cleanse with soap and water. We would observe without this and make more decisions if needed. Penile papules do not require any treatment unless they are disturbing to sight.
