What Causes Left Sided Abdominal Pain?
Question: I have had continual abdominal pain on left side. If I put any pressure or move quickly, I get sharp pains. I even get sharp pains when I takea deep breath.

Since the pain is apparently severe I would rule out acute causes of abdominal pain.There are several reasons for severe abdominal pain & most of them need to be managed as early as possible.
The cause can be identified only by detailed work up since the symptoms overlap.Hence I would suggest to visit an ER if you have an insurance cover without any further delay.I would ask for X-ray, ultrasound abdomen to rule out underlying condition.
