What Causes Left-sided Dull Ache In Abdomen While Jogging Or Dancing?

Need your assistance in order to help you more accurately
Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.
Thank you for writing to us.
I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. In majority of cases, the exact location of the pain provides the medical practitioner with the most amount of information as to what the possible cause could be.
Abdominal pain can arise as a result of gastrointestinal organ abnormalities; abnormalities of nerves, vessels, skin, pelvis, urinary tract, muscles, bones, etc. So the location is most important.
How you can help me to help you:
1. Define horizontal line passing through your breast bone (xiphoid process) and what lies below is your abdominal region
2. Divide the abdominal region into 2 halves, the left quadrant and the right quadrant with the help of an imaginary vertical line
3. Now that we have the left quadrant isolated, divide the left quadrant once again into the lower left and upper left quadrant
Once this is done, check to see where exactly the pain is and let me know the quadrant so that I can better understand the location and guide you further. If the pain is more severe, then get an ultrasound examination of your abdomen and pelvis. If the ultrasound returns a normal result, we should be suspecting causes related to the blood vessels, muscles, etc.
I look forward to hearing from you in order to help you further.
Best wishes.

The pain is in the lower left quadrant paralell with the belly button and is only felt when J bounce up and down as when I jog or walk fast go down stairs etc
Listed all the possible causes, awaiting your opinion and response
Detailed Answer:
Hello once again sir and thank you for that information.
Pain in the LLQ (left lower quadrant) of the abdomen can be associated with the following abnormalities, and I shall also list a few symptoms with each region which you can go through and let me know if any of them are present:
1. Colon:
+Irregularity in bowel movements (constipation, diarrhoea, etc.)
+Abdominal bloating
+Blood in stool or change in colour of the stool
+Belching
+Acid reflux
2. Appendix: But usually the pain is severe, moves in a belt like pattern around the waist, and more commonly is on the right lower quadrant
3. Reproductive system: Associated with pain in or around the genitalia, difficulty or pain during ejaculation, and sexually transmitted infections
4. Muscular: Hernias (Weakness in the abdominal wall), ascites, peritonitis, etc. All requiring physical examination and an ultrasound examination to confirm
5. Blood vessels: Cannot be diagnosed by self through just listing of symptoms
6. Skin: Superficial symptoms and presentation will be seen, which you have not mentioned so we can rule this out
7. Blood: One of the least common and only to be considered once others have been elaborately ruled out
8. Urinary tract related: Change in pattern, frequency, colour, odour, consistency of urine
In my opinion a colon-related abnormality is most plausible and I would like to hear your opinion on the same. I look forward to hearing from you in order to help you further.
Best wishes.

Diverticulosis can easily be the cause for the presentation experienced
Detailed Answer:
Hello once again sir.
I do also believe it could most probably be the diverticulosis, which could have been aggravated due to something you ate or the physical activity itself. But the physical activity would have to had been strenuous for such a presentation.
If you experience any bowel irregularities like constipation, diarrhoea or any other changes then please report to me or to your doctor who diagnosed you with the diverticulosis. There is no serious cause for concern, but I think you may require a revision in your diet. Consult a nutritionist for further clarifications on safe food and those that should be avoided or write to me and I shall help with a list for you.
Please also do not hesitate to write to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.
Best wishes.
