What Causes Left Sided Lower Back Pain?
Question: What causes sporadic pain in my lower back(kidney area) on the left side when I try to do manual labor. Usually it goes away if I lay down for awhile. I am a 62 year old male.
Brief Answer:
Spine disc herniation.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
The most probable reason is spine problem. Due to spine disc herniation you get a compression on the nerve. This causes pain, especially when moving the particular part of the body.
I suggest you to consult orthopedist and have spine MRI done.
Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
