What Causes Light Bleeding With Stomach Ramps And Sore Nipples When Trying Top Conceive?
Question: Hi
I usually have regular cycles of 27 days.
Today I am day 24 of cycle and have started bleeding. The bleeding is very light so am unsure if it is start of a period or not.
I using a Clearblue fertility monitor to help me try to conceive. The monitor showed on day 18 of cycle 3 bars ovulation so I worried as I only on day 24 and slight bleeding.
I have been weeing a lot more, today lower stomach cramps and my nipples have been very sore but breasts been fine. I have no other symptoms.
Please help asap I am out of my mind with worry.
I did have intercourse last night and thought maybe we were a bit rough but bleeding although only light seems a bit more than there should be.

Notwithstanding that bleeding has appeared earlier than the date you expect to menstruate but symptoms like abdominal pain and sore nipples show more opportunities that you are menstruating.
Early arrival of menstruation can be caused by stress you have while you are trying to conceive .
Take folic acid 400mikrog per day and use foods rich with vit E.

I have used cbfm for 3 cycles this is the only cycle that it has shown 3 bars so is this positive I ovulate?
I am worried at 38 I won't conceive naturally.
Ovulation strips are always negative that's why I have bought cbfm. Is this more reliable?
His long should I use monitor for before I ask for help and if I ovulate will I get pregnant.

As I see your reports and other discussions you have done with other doctors you have chances to conceive naturally because:
your cycle is regular
your partner semen is normal
but wait in your age to conceive naturally have negative effects like :
decrease of ovarian reserve
increase the risk of miscarriages from birth defects
Hence if you are in TTC for more than 6 months you should go for testing your tubal patency and then use ovulation stimulant like clomiphen citrate .
You have no more reason to spend money buying Cbfm.
Please take in consideration all my advice.
