Question: Tsh 0.1 serious ? Do i go to ER. Is this urgent ?

Brief Answer: Thyroid Detailed Answer: A laboratory value alone in this instance cannot indicate urgency of the situation or otherwise. Broadly, if you do not feel ill such as heart racing, dizziness and low blood pressure (just to name a few worrisome symptoms), then there may not be a sense of emergency. Generally, a TSH of 0.1 by itself is not considered critical but could pose serious problems for those who have heart problems like angina (chest pain from coronary artery disease) or irregular heart rhythm problems. It is important to get this evaluated thoroughly by a thyroid expert and determine the cause of the low TSH.
