What Causes Low EGFR In A Patient With Epstein-Barr Virus Infection?
Sounds like no problem
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I suppose that 59 was your 'estimated' glomerular filtration rate (eGFR). When somebody is dehydrated the eGFR may drop but in most cases (and when there is prompt treatment) no permanent damage occurs. This seems to be your case too because 77 seems OK for your age.
Regarding albumin to creatinine ratio: if 30.3 is microgram/milligram then this is fine too. If it is milligram/millimole then this is marginally OK too. In the second case, since the result would be marginal, I would advise having a 24 hour urine collection for albumin to determine whether you have albuminuria or not. Also if you've ran long distances, some protein may be found in your urine, without having any glomerular disorder, so try to avoid exercising for a couple of days before having the test.
Kind Regards!
