What Causes Low Grade Fever And Constant Pain In Abdomen?
Constant dull Pain in abdomen / Under Evaluation
Detailed Answer:
Hi, Dear !! Thanks for your query to HCM.
I have Read and reviewed facts of Your query.
Based on which, the pain has supposedly reduced after ibuprofen overnight with hot fomentation.Seems that the antacids did not give any relief.
As the past history given by you also doesn't lead to any cause in the abdomen,More information is needed in your case.
-More info needed-
Though you have not specified the location of pain, it seems to be in the upper abdomen.
With no past history giving any lead to the cause of the abdominal pain,I would suggest you to give information on following lead questions for further evaluation-
Whether this pain in abdomen is on right of midline in upper abdomen / or this pain is on left lower abdomen?
Whether you had some outside hotel or/ street food before this pain started yesterday morning?
Any history of such a pain in the past? Any burning in chest / or in upper abdomen?
Any history of spicy food or Stale food ?
Any nausea/ vomiting feel with pain in abdomen ?
Treatment-
Till the time the cause is not fixed I would suggest you to get following care-
Consult your doctor and
Check the stool for Ova/ Cyst
Avoid Spicy / fried food.
Tab Cyclopam 1 x 2 times a day before meals.
Tab PPI-Panto D-1 x 2 times a day .
Be on the bland liquid diet till such time your cause is fixed.
Welcome for any further information and query in this regard.

The meds you have suggested ,are they OTC or Rx?
In regards to pain, it's in all 6 quads of the abdomen, constant in nature, not spasmodic.yes, day prior to yesterday morning, when the pain started, I had a slice of combo pizza at costco. That's the only outside food I have eaten in the last 10 days. No such history of any similar pain in the past. No h/o heart burn or acidity ..ever. No loss of appetite either. No feeling of nausea or vomiting either.
Regular bowel movement. Skipped lunch yesterday, but had dinner last night and also a regular breakfast this morning of a slice of toast ( whole wheat bread ) and omelette.
Be on bland liquid diet.Restrict solid food till recovery frm EnteroColitis
Detailed Answer:
Hi Dear,Thanks for your query updates and more information.
I have Read and reviewed the updated facts with your health concern of undiagnosed abdominal food.
You had mostly contracted infection from Combo-Pizza,as based on facts updated from you.
My Impression.
Mostly you are suffering from mild entero-colitis induced from combo-plaza with constant pain all over abdomen as confirmed from your updates.
The continued heavy regular diet as omelette/toast loads, resulted in perpetual pain in abdomen all over your abdomen.
So don't worry and do as follow-
Based on the updated facts, You need to take care as follows-
Be on Bland Liquid diets like rice soups n porridge with Yogurt / or Skimmed Butter Milk.
Medicines-
Now as the diagnosis is confirmed from your history,I would suggest following medicines-
Take help of your family doctor if your don't get it OTC in USA..
Tab Cyclopam - 1 x 2 times a day -for 3-5 days as need be.(OTC product available in usa)
Tab Ciplox- with Tab Ornidazole -medicine x 5 days time to detox from the combo pizza, which has loaded your bowels.(Both are otc in usa, but check up with your local GP doctor for this availability)
Plenty of fluids
Start routine solid food gradually after 2 days control with liquid diet as suggested.
Welcome for any further query in this regard 24 x 7 as needed through a priavate question.
Keep Me updated on stool test report, for further care.
