What Causes Low Libido After Hysterectomy?
Question: Wife has had two breast cancers and hysterectomy. She doesn't take any harmones except Vagifem.
She has no desire for sex and says it hurts even with lubrication.
My question is: Does a lack of harmones also remove the desire or just the ability to have enjoyable sex?

Lack of hormones does affect the desire to have sex, sometimes it is due to painful sexual activity( even with lubricants) which causes the loss of libido and this vicious cycle perpetuates slowly and steadily giving rise to total loss of interest in sex.
