What Causes Low Pulse Rate While On Clonidine?

Question: My wife is having problems with her blood pressure and pulse rate. One DR said the medication clonidine may be causing the slow pulse rate but if i stop it, what meds do i replace it with? I have amlosipine bensylate and propranolol. Would either of these do the job?

I would need some more info.

1)Please tell me her usual pulse rate.
2) please give me complete list of medications.
3)What are her usual BP readings?
4) What MG of amlodipine you have?
5) Clonidine doesnt really cause low heart rate what dose is she taking.
