What Causes Lower Abdominal Discomfort And Back Pain Post D&C Surgery?

Question: I had D&cv 2weeks ago and have felt lethargic and achey ever since The dia ,can't spell it , has come back and today I'm loosing mostly mucus. I have dull discomfort in low abdomen and pain down into my back passage

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
I suppose you are having mucus discharge from vagina.
It is normal for few days after D& C.
However, if the discharge is excessive, then you should get an ultrasound done to confirm any retained products of conception in the uterine cavity.
Antibiotics and pain killers should be taken for 5 days post procedure to relieve pain and lower abdomen discomfort.

Diarrhoea with mucus can be due to gastroenteritis, and pain in abdomen and back passage is common in this scenario.
