What Causes Lower Left Abdominal Pain After Embryo Transfer?
Question: im having lower left side pain after embryo transfer. im a little concerned it might be an ectopic pregnancy. its only been 3 days since embryo transfer
Brief Answer:
Too early worry, ectopic pregnancy very unlikely, watch, if persistence, ul
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the query,
I understand this could be concerning. I can however reassure you that after an embryo transfer, chances of the pregnancy becoming ectopic are almost zero.
I think this should simple a reaction of the system and a simple pain killer and just watching for a couple of days, with some bed rest should be sufficient.
In case pain persists, you might have to consult your doctor for an ultrasound.
For now, I would say too early to worry.
Thanks and kind regards as I wish you the best of health.
