What Causes Lump In Lower Left Buttock?

Question: I have a lump that I can feel in my lower left buttock more near the thigh. Mostly bothers me when I sit on a toilet seat and it gets compressed. I can barely feel it unless I press into the skin with my fingers. It recently started to hurt when sitting for an extended period. It's not really visible but I can feel it. I can barely feel it if I rub my hand over it but feels bigger when I push in and feel with my fingers. Feels like a gumball or marble... It's somewhat firm but not like a rock.
Brief Answer:
lipoma. nothing to worry
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks the query.
Probably you have developed lipoma.
It is a benign collection of body fat.
You don't need to worry as it is a common and harmless thing.
Slowly it will regress.
Dont try to press it. Pressing hard can cause bleeding inside the lump and can cause pain.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you
