What Causes Lumps Inside Anal Canal Along With Constipation?
Question: Last month had severe constationand had to strain a it for bowel movement.Suddenly I find some swollen lumps inside the anal canal.Is it piles?What treatment is advised?

Using stool softeners is the initial treatment. Avoiding constipation will help it to disappear. You can use dietary fibre supplements or stool softeners like lactulose at bed time. You should also take more water. Over the counter hemorrhoid ointments will be helpful in case of bleeding, itching or discomfort. Ointment with cinchocaine and hydrocortisone will be helpful also.

Can these haemorroids be reduced by use of Pilex ointment and Pilex tablets.I drink lots of water and eat vegetables.There is no bleeding.how long will it take for the swelling to subside?
