Brief Answer:
Normetrogyl
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
Usually loose stools is viral infection at this age.
But if it is associated with mucous then possible causes include protozoan or bacterial infection.
Your doctor has rightly diagnosed and prescribed nor metrogyl.
This is better than Taxim o as it covers both while Taxim o covers only bacterial.
Continue nor metrogyl and Sporolac.
Ensure you feed him frequently to ensure urine output atleast six to eight times a day.
Wishing your child good health.
