Brief Answer:
Could be occurring due to a number of reasons.

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for asking from HCM

I can understand your concern. Sudden onset muscle jerks, weakness, imbalance, stuttering etc could occur due to stress but should be evaluated. If the muscle jerking is limited to individuals muscles and is like twitch then most likely its related to anxiety. Muscle twitches are seen in anxiety also.

Weakness, stuttering etc are also seen commonly in stress. Lack of balance could occur due to a number of reasons. If there is recent ear infection then this could be the reason but as the symptoms are occurring along with stuttering then that is more related to stress.

Considering your age I'd advise you to go for MRI brain to rule out any neurological lesion also. Weakness of extremities, lack of balance, muscle jerks could occur due to some vascular cause in brain and should be ruled out. Once that comes normal then most likely cause of your symptoms is stress and should be treated accordingly.

Visit a doctor for help. What other symptoms you are having?

Any history of sudden fall? Any severe headache? Any difficulty in holding things?

Please provide the details in follow up. Thanks.
