Question: I have recently been showing the following symptoms:
- muscle aches/cramps/pains
- extreme fatigue
- low grade fever
- confusion/ brain fog
- rashes and mouth/nose sores
- dry eyes
- night sweats
- headaches
And the list goes on... My lab results came back as ANA 1:640 and Vitamin D levels at 15. What am I looking at as a possible diagnosis?

Brief Answer:
SLE

Detailed Answer:
Sorry to note your symptoms.

In view of these, and the positive ANA test, it would be prudent to rule out SLE (Systemic Lupus Erythematosus), sometimes referred to as Lupus.

The symptoms fit the common complaints in individuals who have this condition. However an accurate diagnosis is absolutely important. This entails a consultation with a Rheumatologist who will perform a comprehensive evaluation including a through physical examination in addition to more laboratory tests.

The low vitamin D levels are not directly related to the possible Lupus diagnosis. So taking treatment for this is acceptable as per the discretion of the treating physician
