What Causes Muscle Strain After Lifting A Heavy Object?
Angina pain located in entire left arm;muscle pull to be checked by X-ray..
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concern.
The angina pain is radiated into all parts of left arm (usually, no specific area is affected, but the entire arm instead).
You are saying to have pulled a muscle lifting a heavy pot. If the pain is no subsided after taking oral pain-killers (like ibuprofen) and/or after applying analgesic cream locally, then, should get to ER for further evaluation.
Usually, I advise my hypertensive patients (as you are) to take another (extra) dosage of their medications if they feel the pain; unless they can measure the blood pressure (bp) and if it is extremely low, should not take this extra dosage of anti-hypertensive medications.
I also advise them to keep a drug called nitroglycerin (a vasodilatator) which will ease the angina pain within a few minutes. If the pain is stopped after taking nitrolgycerin, then, further cardiac tests are required to evaluate the changes in m
If the pain is not subsided, then, should go to ER.
Wish fast recovery!

Thank you for providing additional information.
From what you are describing, it seems that your pain is not related to angina but to pulled (torn) muscle.
