What Causes Muscles Pain While On Metformin?
Question: im 58 years old 5-10 350lbs. take glucotrol xl 10mg twice day.metforman hcl 500 4 a day eliquis 5mg 2 aday carvedilol 25 mg tab 2 a day.lisinopril 20mg-hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg 1 a day.amiodarone 200mg tab 1 a day.prilosec,senor vitamin 1 a day.I am A over the road truck driver.I have lots of muscle and joint pain.some swelling and joint poping.Is there any over the counter or herbal supplement available to help.Caution I need stay away from any things that make me drowsy. my doctor thinks some due to arthritic and of course weight. thanks for your help. Now coming to other part ,
Do you get swelling of joints? Which joints are affected , also do you take alcohol , any history of arthritis in family ?
As for pain relief you can try naproxen 500 mg twice daily if no contraindication is there. Else paracetamol 650 mg thrice daily you can take.
