Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
I have gone through your query in detail. Please find the answers for your questions below.
1) maxillary. hypoplasia , don't think this is contributing?
-- No, I do not think it can contribute to your condition by any means.
MRI may not be reliable in your case. Do get a EEG (Electroencephalogram) done. This can identify which part of the brain sends the abnormal impulses.
2) is there anything particular I should mention about medications. have youheard of particular people not being responsive or Xanax making seizures worse?
-- Yes, do mention about the xanax and its dosage you were on. Its very important, as you doubt it could have worsened the condition besides getting unresponsive.
3) is there anything other then clonazepam. that would be helpful?
-- Yes, Sodium Valproate or lamotrigine could be a better substitute.
4) what if this starts happening during a code?
-- yes, if not managed well there are chances of worsening.
Hope, I answered your query.
Please do ask if you have any other concerns.
Wish you good health.
regards,
