Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that headache and nausea are common adverse effects related to Aldactone and Digoxine. Both these drugs can lead to such adverse effects. As they have been started at the same time, we can not say which of them is causing these complains.

Regarding digoxine plasma levels thy are low, which means that there is no risk of intoxication from this drug. Your potassium levels are also normal.

But you should know that the fact that digoxine levels are not high, it does not mean that this drug is not related to nausea and headache.

Usually these adverse effects disappear after a certain period of time. But, if your complains persist in the next weeks, I recommend discussing with your doctor on these issues and the possibility of making some changes to your therapy (switch to other drugs which you may tolerate better).

Hope to have been helpful!

Best wishes,

Dr. Iliri
