What Causes Nausea And Vomiting Post Angiography Procedure?

Question: Hi there. I recently had an arteriogram and vomited during the procedure. I understand they used a drug called flatten (not sure of the spelling). Could I be allergic to this?

One of adverse effects of contrast agents used during the angiography procedures is nausea and vomiting. So most probably it is not an allergy, it was an adverse effect.
