What Causes Neck Pain While On Amoxicillin?

I will recommend you add Tylenol to drugs, stop Aleve!
Detailed Answer:
HI and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this pain that you have reported. It is vague and poorly characterized and unlikely to be explained by an ongoing disease process. This is mostly likely a transient pain of minimal pathological significance at this time. This is supported by the fact that it is not constant and probably not severe. I will suggest you add Tylenol and stop alive. Take the medications at least thrice daily for effective pain control for 2days. Only seek further attention if there is persistence of pins and symptoms. However, this pain will most likely resolve within 3-5days unless there is something else that we are missing out on. Keep me posted if this pain fails to significantly decrease within 48hours of taking tylenol and Advil.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, thanks for using our services.

Thank you. The pain is not severe at the moment, more uncomfortable than anything. I was concerned that it was a prelude to a more serious reaction to the medication like my throat swelling or something.
Thinking about it, I did take 2 Advil for the jaw pain last night before bed instead of the Aleve for my arm pain. Since I took an Aleve 5 hours ago, what is the earliest I should take Advil? The last thing I want to do is overdose. What dosage should I take for the next couple of days?
Since both Advil and Aleve are NSAIDs, why will Advil not react the same way as Aleve?
Thank you for your help.
Aleve and Advil can cause serious stomach bleeding when taken together!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Am switching the medications just to make sure i receive good results and not expose you to the risk of NSAIDs induced stomach bleeding. I will recommend 400mg of advil every 8hours(3times daily).
Let me know if tis addresses your worries. Keep me updated.

You are welcome!
