Hi. First of all please tell me why is it not retracting? If this is due to formation of a very tight ''ring'' around the glans while retracting = you need a circumcision. If there is no tight ring , you can try daily retracting it during bath, trying to roll in by pulling up the foreskin. You may use coconut or so oil as a lubricant. There are some options available if the foreskin ring is tight. 1> As already explained - you can certainly try pulling up the skin with the aid of coconut oil daily . Do not pull it hard otherwise it will increase the fibrosis at the tip if a ring. If at all the skin comes up and above the glans please clean it thoroughly with soap and water, make it dry and pull it back to the previous position to avoid paraphimosis , in which the foreskin will get edematous. 2> Visit a General Surgeon or Urologist and get checked. Request him whether the simple dilatation of the ring under local or general anesthesia will help solve the problem. You have to do this again everyday to keep it dilated. 3> Too much tight ring unable to be dilated needs circumcision 4> Dorsal slit wherein the Surgeon would put a cut on the front part an incision to release the tight ring; but this is unsightly hence preferred only in emergency. I would like to know whether you are married ( have sexual contacts and whether your condition has caused any problem for the sex- if at all ) Id no problem, the only concern would be cleanliness.
