Brief Answer:
most probably nerve compression, need further workup at hospital

Detailed Answer:
hello

thank you for getting back with the answers. i have gone through them. Numbness of particular area occurs if there is compression of nerve supplying that particular area. Nerve compression can occur due to any cause like bony compression. An important cause of compression with numbness of upper limbs is cervical rib. As you have already scheduled an appointment for a doctor so you just need to wait. You can discuss with him all the details. X-ray thoracic inlet will help confirm the presence of absence of cervical rib. In case its present then an orthopedic surgeon or neurologist will discuss further management. Meanwhile try that you do not keep hand in a particular position that causes numbness. You can take any multivitamin suspension as well.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Wishing you good health !!
