What Causes Numbness In The Right Side Of The Body?
Question: A friend has been experiencing increased tingling/twitching/numbness only on the right side of her body - mostly in her arms & legs. An MRI of her brain was negative. Tests for diabetes, B-12 deficiency, and other vitamin deficiencies were negative. She is scheduled to see a neurologist in a few weeks. Any ideas what could be causing her symptoms?

The problem may be in the cervical spinal cord since the brain MRI resulted negative.
Besides neurological examination, in my opinion, is necessary a cervical spinal cord with gadolinium in order to evaluate further possible conditions such transverse myelitis, multiple sclerosis, cervical spondylosis, etc.
Spinal tap and cerebrospinal fluid examination may be necessary as well.
