What Causes Numbness Of Hands And Low BP?
Question: My wife feels her both hands getting kind of paralyise sometimes. She is breast feeding, 30 years old and has low bp. Is it due to calcium pls advise
Brief Answer:
SUPPLEMENTS ADVISED.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Such numbness in the limbs can be due to multivitamin or calcium deficiency.
As long as she is breastfeeding, she should be taking calcium and vitamin D supplements.
Ask her to take Shelcal - D tablets twice a day if she is not already doing so.
ALso a multivitamin supplement like Cobazinc once a day.
She can take Protinex powder ( protein powder ) 2 tablespoons in a glass of milk daily.
Alongwith this, she should take lots of fluids, atleast 5 litres per day.
A nutritious diet and mild exercise also are mandatory.
All the best
