Brief Answer:
Suggestive of trigeminal neuropathy.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms and they are suggestive of involvement of trigeminal nerve.

This nerve arises from brainstem (pons region) and supplies sensation to face, tongue, gums, scalp, etc. If this nerve is affected, it can result in numbness, tingling, pain, etc in these regions.

The common reason for the nerve involvement is viral infection, in which case, it improves within a few days to few weeks.

If the symptoms persist, an MRI scan of brain may be needed to exclude any disease in brain stem region.

I hope my reply has helped you.

I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.
