Brief Answer:
Possibilty of L3 radiculopathy or neuropathy

Detailed Answer:
Hello, XXXX

I have gone through your question. As per your description numbness with paresthesia may be due to radiculopathy or neuropathy of L3 nerve root.

One possibility may be nerve root compression at lumbar spine L3 level if you have back pain also.

Other possibility may be knee joint related referred pain if you are having knee joint issues.
You should also mention if there is any hypo pigmented patch at the site of numbness and other locations of such patches.
any history of diabetes or other illness?

For diagnosis you may visit a doctor preferably neurologist for proper examination, investigations and treatment advise accordingly. you may require imaging of lumbosacral spine and nerve conduction study with appropriate blood investigations.
For treatment you can take pain modulators like pregabalin, gabapentin and amitriptyline .

Hope the answer is helpful to you. wishing you good health.

Brief Answer:
Seems To be nothing Serious

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,
If you are not having these associated features then possibility of a worrisome cause is less. I will advice you to visit a neurologist who can examine you properly and check the sensation loss objectively so that investigations can be planned.
Sometimes such abnormal sensation may appear in any part and disappear on its own.
Be relaxed.
Hope you find the answer helpful. Do get back to me if any other symptoms appear or any relevant medical history is also there.
