Brief Answer:
Vaginal infection...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
From what you are describing, you are in menopause. As per your heavy bleeding experienced 1 year ago, I suggest to get your hormones checked as you might need oral medications.
With regards to the pressure and pain after having sex and foul odor, it is related to vaginal infection. It is common for women to have vaginal infections even though having only 1 partner.
I suggest to do:
- urine analysis
- vaginal swab testing
- transvaginal ultrasound
to determine infection and to start therapy as soon as possible. You might need prescription oral and vaginal treatment.
Until test results, I advise to:
- keep a good genital hygiene
- wash your genitalia immediately after having sex
- avoid having sex while on treatment/until improvement
- ask your husband to get treated as well while you will be on treatment. Can discuss it further with your doctor.
Hope it was of help!
