What Causes Pain And Difficulty In Moving The Jaw?

Question: Hello. I have a strange black spot In my lower inner gum. It's beside a recent abcess and associated with sore throat. The spot is causing me 6/10 pain. I'm scared it might be a sign of oral cancer.
Please advice me?

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
As far as the black spot in the gums is concerned, i have the following possibilities. It can be a echchymosis secondary to trauma by biting or the other possible cause can be melanotic pigmentation secondary to irritation by the teeth. Nothing to be panic, it is not cancerous lesion.
The pain an difficulty in moving the jaw can be because of the wisdom tooth infection, get that tooth treated. You can consult a oral physician and get it evaluated.
These are the possible diagnosis based on your description of the lesion. Please upload the images of the gums, so that i can give you exact diagnosis and treatment plan.
