What Causes Pain And Swelling In Testicles?
Mild infection of testicular coverings.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXX
I understand your query and concern.
As per your sonographic and clinical history ,Mild funiculitis is infection of the covering of the testis.
This might been acquired through an ascending urinary tract infection.
You need not be scared of this.
The small bilateral hydrocoeles represent fluid collections in response to infection.
All you currently need is a short course of antibiotics like Cefpodoxime for 5 days.
This will completely eradicate the infection and will make you comfortable.
Please note this antibiotic has to be taken only under strict medical supervision.
The fluid will resorb spontaneously on its own.
Repeat this scan after 14 days of completion of therapy to notice the improvement by yourself.
Thank you.
