What Causes Pain And Swelling In The Lips?
Question: About 25 years ago I was experiencing sore, swollen lips and at times small sores in my mouth. After multiple visits to the doctor and various dermatologists and tests over a year's period of time I was diagnosed with what the dermatologist said was salivary gland disease. The dermatologist said there was nothing that they could do and my symptoms seemed to decrease just about that time. I still get flare-ups on occasion that are somewhat painful and a nuisance but seem to go away after a few weeks. Given that the tests and diagnosis was 25 years ago are there any new treatments or medications? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! XXXXXXX
