What Causes Pain At Cesarean Stitches After 13 Months?
My wife has deliver a baby girl , 13 month before through cesarean. Now she is feeling a little pain in her stitched part of skin (inner side). It’s not very painful but pain is happening time to time.
It’s naturally happening or it’s any problem, What types of precaution should she take. Can she take pickle.

Hi
Thanks for your query.
Pain near stitches may be experienced by some women. If there is no pus formation in the wound, pain will decrease in some time. It is probably happening due to changes in the physique after the breastfeeding phase is over.
I will be better able to help if you provide more details about her symptoms.
Has she had changes in weight recently?
Does she have any other symptoms like pain somewhere else, discharge from vagina, etc?
I also need the reports of most recent pap-smear, which should ideally be within 6 months after delivery. Please upload any other reports like urine tests, blood tests etc.
There is no need for much precautions. She can take painkillers if pain is bad. Painkillers like ibuprofen can be taken. She may avoid the postures which are more painful. She should avoid lifting weight or other forms of exertion. She can take pickle.
