What Causes Pain In Breast Bone Radiating To Stomach?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Further cardiac tests are needed...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.
From what you are reporting and taking into account that you are an insulin dependent type 2 diabetic, the pain you feel from breastbone into the stomach, and which lasts for around 3 seconds repeatedly, it might be a sign for a possible cardiac event.
I highly recommend to schedule an immediate appointment with cardiologist and to run further cardiac tests:
- ECG
- cardiac echo
- stress test
Meanwhile, you can monitor your blood pressure, record the results to pass them to your cardiologist. I also advise to monitor your blood sugar levels, especially at the moment when you are having pain, and record the results.
If the pain will intensify or will be more frequent, I advise to run to ER for immediate evaluations and proper treatment.
Hope it helped!
