What Causes Pain In Coccyx And Painful Urination?
Question: My son has painful tail bone, with painful urination, what should he do?

I am Dr.Muhammad Ahmad. I have read your question completely, i understand your concern and will try to help you in best way possible.
He seems to be having some irritation of urinary tract. If he diesn't have fever at the moment then he just needs to do a few things to get better.
1) Drink loads of fluids.
2) Drink good quanitiy of cranberry juice.
3) Drink some urine PH oprtimizer like Citralka or citrosoda XXXXXXX thrice a day.
4) He can use Tylenol for pain.
5) I would suggest taking Citeririzne 10mg daoly at night for three days.
If things keep getting worse despite all these life style changes and OTC meds ..or if he gets fever..he might well need to get some labs done and antibiotics started...in that case I would suggest you to meet your doctor ASAP.
