What Causes Pain In Head With History Of Surgeries On Ear?

Question: Good evening!
I had four surgerries on my right ear due to the otitis complication, the last one 2 1/2years ago mastoidectomy.
The problem is I have a pain on the head,in temporal and occipitale side, not on the year.
It doesn't flow.
Coul be a sign of any complication (meningita or something else?).
What should I do to be sure what it is?
Thank you verry much, XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
You could have a head CT scan done.
Detailed Answer:
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
One possible serious complication of ear infection and surgery is brain abscess and/ or meningoencephalitis.
It is accompanied by high fever and decrease in conscience level, so I don't think is your case, but if there is something doubted, you could have a brain imaging study ( CT or MRI), to be sure there is nothing to worry about.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
