Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing back,
Images your provided and answers you gave were really helpful in understanding the condition I want to assure you that this not a dangerous situation you don't have signs of infection would was my real concern your problem is very simple and very treatable.
My opinion:
Your symptoms are very similar to late onset inflammation at trauma site, this presents with redness slight warmth and pricking or burning sensation , this condition is very common specially in blunt trauma situations over area where skin doesn't get breached but under lying tissue area gets damaged.
How to deal with it:
1- Keep the area warm , you can use warm compresses.
2- Don't wear shoes which continuously rub over the area, wear soft socks over it.
3- Over the counter topical ibuprofen or diclofenac sodium creams are very helpful in a week of so they result in dramatic decrease in symptoms. Rubbing these creams over the are also relieves minor tissue adhesions under skin and with time tissues get relaxed this helps too. So they have dual advantages and indeed safest treatment option to use.
4- I would also suggest my patients to use Brufen 400 mg twice a day or Tylenol 500 mg twice a day for 5 days.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
This will take about a week or so and then you will not have to use any med afterwards. This can be cured with very simple lifestyle modification and medical treatment. Care with selection of shoes is also important.
Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
