Question: Have pain lower back and testicler area, pain is constant but only a 2 or 3. Had radiation and chemo for lyphoma pet scan afterwards negative. Pet did show compression in tail bone area. Fell or butt one month ago ,pain started more often afterwards. More an ache than pain. Could it be from fall or adhesions from radiation.

Brief Answer:
probably from fall

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

As the post treatment PET was normal and this pain started after fall and injury to back, most likely this is due to the trauma. Adhesions from radiation causing pain is less likely.

Can you let me know when was the last PET done? If not recently then a repeat PET or MRI of the affected part may be required.

Hope this helps.
I will be available for followup.
Regards
