What Causes Pain In Pelvic Area And Back In Women With Thickened Endometrium?
I am having the following symptoms:
Severe lower back pain (aching and throbbing)
Severe pelvic pain (sharp and stabbing)
Black intermittent vaginal discharge
Hair loss
Nausea (on and off)
8 years ago I had surgery to remove pre cancerous cells.
Could you please shed some light on what I may be facing? My doctor is rulling out stds but everything seems to be taking forever.
Thank you
Can be due to cysts or a urinary infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The pelvic and back pain that you have can be due to the ovarian cysts, an intestinal infection or a urinary infection. It is better to have a complete urine examination and culture done to find out any infections. The ovarian cysts and the fluid in the uterus can cause an intermittent black spotting. Any chronic infections like tuberculosis or endometriosis also needs to be ruled out.
It is best to consult a gynecologist and get all the proper investigations done to find out the cause of pain. Taking tramadol for symptomatic relief will not help.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.

The tramadol is helping with the pain but makes me very groggy. The tumor in my uterus is 2cm by 2cms could that be causing any of my symptoms?
As I have had pre cancerous cells removed in the past im paranoid about endometrial cancer.
Not due to fibroid.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
A small fibroid of 2 cm is not likely to cause these symptoms. This can be due to ovarian cysts or endometrial growth. It is better to get an endometrioal biopsy done to rule out any malignancy. An MRI scan of lower abdomen will also be helpful in detecting any abnormal masses.
Hope my answer is helpful.
