What Causes Pain In Penis During Retraction Of Foreskin?
Question: Hello Doctor,
I have not opened foreskin cover of my penis from last 10 years and from last 2 weeks I am trying to open my penis foreskin only little foreskin is opening and I am expressing pain if I try to open more part of foreskin.
Please advice on how can I open my full foreskin?
Would I need to do surgery to cut my foreskin or it would get opened by other procedure?
I am planning to get married in next 2 years.Would this problem affect my sex life?
Please guide me a solution.
Regards, XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
Possible Phimosis.Need Circumcision.
Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,
I understand your concern.
Your condition is possibly referred to as Phimosis which is inability to retract the foreskin.
Yes this can cause problems in marital life with sexual intercourse.
Also problems with urination would arise at a later stage.
Certainly surgical procedure is needed to get a cure.
Procedure like Circumcision(complete removal of foreskin) is usually carried out by an expert Urologist.
Hence I advise you to consult the same.
Thank you.
