Brief Answer:
Blood sugar / Sling for the elbow & forearm

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

I would advise you first to get your blood sugar tested to rule out diabetes as in some patients this is the first symptom of diabetes.

The reason in your case can be inflammation of the joint between clavicle and the scapula or tendinitis or fibromyalgia of the underlying muscles as you have told about the place of the pain.
Once the inflammation starts the muscles around the area of disease go into protective spam. By virtue of the repetitive stress syndrome there continues the constant pain, which you have for 6 weeks. One goes into the vicious cycle of pain > spam > pain. We have to break this cycle somewhere.
For this the first thing to do is to keep the elbow and the forearm in a sling attached to the left side of the neck. It should be tightened enough that the weight of the limb is transferred to the neck. This will relax the painful area and give rest which is important part and the most important basic of the treatment.

Take anti-inflammatory medicines. Getting the clinical examination to palpate the area of tenderness and to examine the shoulder girdle is very important to know exact point of pain / tenderness. I hope you have consulted an Orthopedic Surgeon, undergone some tests, X-rays. MRI may be required.

I hope this helps you.
