What Causes Pain In Right-sided Lower Abdomen, Upper Chest And Anxiety?
Question: My daughter 23 years old, anxiety with lower abdominal pain on right side and pain in right upper chest

I read your question and i understand your concern. At the age fo 23, chest pain and lower abdominal pain seems gastric in origin. How ever in girls, other pathologies like genital tract infections, Pelvic inflammatory disease, ovarian cysts etc. She will need some work up for that. A good start will be urine routine exam, abdominal ultrasound and see if it helps. Pain in upper right chest may be a gastric discomfort or a gallbladder issue. Anxiety is also the commonest cause of such pain.
Meanwhile take some advil and xanax for the pain, rest for a while and see if it helps. Get her to a doctor for some baseline work up to sort out any other pathology.
