What Causes Pain In The Pelvic Region Radiating To The Ankle?

Question: In 2006, i discovered reduced dexterity in right hand fingers and strange relation between right hand finger movements causing right toes twitching. Soon, doctor (neurologist) diagnosed PD, but it didn't degenerate as expected and i was on Azilect and Mirapex and Carbidopa started only in 2014. Only one symptom worsened - right leg nerve running from genitals to ankle via the calf that often gives cramps causing wake-up early morning. Could it be just nerve pinching or sciatica? How to make sure? If it is PD, is there alternate treatment worth trying? Thanks.
Brief Answer:
Most likely sciatica.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.
I have read your question and understand your concerns.
In my opinion, the symptom that worsened is not related to PD, because it should have been improved after antiparkinsonik treatment.
Also, distribution is typical of sciatica.
It is necessary to discuss with your Doctor about getting tested further with imaging studies such lumbosacral MRI, in order to understand better your condition.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Most likely sciatica.
