Brief Answer:
It can be heart problem

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case and chest pain in lying down condition which is getting relieved on sitting is most probably gastric pain. But I would recommend you to get your ECG and heart check up also, as you are already a heart patient and taking medicines. You might need to get a stress echo also.
If your heart test are fine, than you should take following steps.
1.Avoid spicy food.
2.Take Omez capsule after discussing with your doctor.
3. If possible, do not sleep just after eating.
I hope these steps will help in this gastric pain. Let me know if you have any other queries.
Thanks.

What is "gastric pain"? And what causes it? I am NOT a heart patient. Last night I did eat a small piece of cake and 3 cookies about an hour before going to bed. I don't usually do that...Can you have "gastric pain" in the upper left chest area? Which, include pain the let arm?

Brief Answer:
Gastric pain is due to acidity

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Gastric pain is cause by hyperacidity. It can be cause by some foods. This can cause such pain like you are having.
I'd you are not a heart patient than also I would recommend you to get a heart check up as soon as possible. In any pain of left side of chest with radiation in arm, heart problem needs to rule out.
Let me know if you want to ask anything else.
Thanks.
