What Causes Painful Blister-like Sores On The Forehead?
Question: I have been dealing with painful blister like lesions on my forehead. Now I have them around my mouth, again painful. Any ideas?
Brief Answer:
Looks like folliculitis, topical antibiotic & anti inflammatory drugs
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
I have reviewed the attached photograph and it is looking like folliculitis which is inflammation of the hair follicle.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to apply topical antibiotic like neosporin ointment on the affected area twice daily and take anti inflammatory medicines like ibuprofen for 3-5 days.
If these lesions don't show much improvement in 5 days then you might require oral antibiotics as well.
