Brief Answer:
Blood caused by laceration of anal mucosa due to hard stool (constipation)

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

Having painful bowel movements associated with blood this morning are suggestive of constipation complicated with hemorrhoids. If you touch your anal area, you might feel some type of bump there which is hemorrhoids.

When you have constipation, stool is hard to pass through bowels, that is associated with laceration of the bowel mucosa. This laceration and pressure is causing hemorrhoids to appear (enlarged anal vessels). When repeated hard stool is passed, then, the hemorrhoids are broken causing bleeding.

The most important thing is to avoid constipation:
- increase fluids intake especially water
- go to toilet each time you feel the need, do not postpone as it will worsen your problems
- eat fiber rich foods; fiber supplements containing prunes/figs/psyllium fiber can also help
- take lactulose to soften the stool
- take senna or other gentle laxatives to ease bowel movement.
- apply prep H locally each time you have a bowel movement.

The bleeding will stop in a couple/few days. If not, should consult with GI specialist further.

Hope it was of help!

Brief Answer:
Then, should go to ER for immediate evaluation&treatment....

Detailed Answer:
Hi back my dear,

Ok, then, from the new data you provided, it might be a case of possible inflammatory bowel disease or bowel infection.

As it is repeated every 30 mins, then, you should see GI specialist or infectious disease specialist as soon as possible. Should go to ER for immediate evaluation and treatment.

Wish fast recovery!
