What Causes Painful Bump At The Place Of External Hemorrhoid?

Question: I have had external hemorrhoids before. In fact a few days ago I had a flare up, always in the same spot. I always treat it with TUCKS and it goes away rather quickly. It was almost gone when something new came on. It feels similar to a hemorrhoid, but it seems too far over and it is much more painful. I can't physically see it, but I can feel it under the skin. What could be causing this? It's probably the size of a dime mayber a little smaller.
Brief Answer:
It could be a Thrombosed hemorrhoid.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Sometimes, blood gets clotted in the hemorrhoid leading to pain and swelling. It is called Thrombosed hemorrhoid.
In my opinion, you should consult your doctor, get examined clinically and proceed accordingly. I prefer to remove the swelling surgically under Anesthesia.
Please take high fiber diet, drink plenty of liquids, eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Your stool should be soft.
Nothing to worry.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health
